    OK Wel to make a long story short. I had to O/S running drive C and drive E, Well i deleted C the partion then went on to resizeing the hard and taking out C. SO now im left with E. Well after some software wanting to install on C and not detecting E i decided i wanted C back. I loaded up Disk Director and went to change drive letter clicked on C and it said to reboot. Well heres the problem when i get to the windows login screen i just have the word windows and the logo like normal but theres no icon for me to clikc to login and the screen just hangs there. Well Im running Knoppix live in order to type this and im still new to linux and i cant find any program to change it back to E or do something.

    I would really like some help and would be very grateful

    Thanks,
    Trilaxx

    Hello Trilaxx,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

    I'm afraid that Acronis Disk Director Suite will not be able to help you in resolving this issue.

    However, we will do our best in order to find a solution for you.
    Please create Acronis Report in the way described below:

    - Download and run Acronis Report Utility;
    - Select the "Create Bootable Floppy" option;
    - Insert a blank floppy disk in the A: drive and proceed with creation of the bootable floppy;
    - Boot the computer from this diskette and wait for report creation process to finish;
    - Collect the report file from the floppy.

    Please submit a request for technical support. Attach the collected report file to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
