Here's a short, important tutorial on how to change the background color in Microsoft Office Online documents to a more ergonomically friendly value using right-click element inspection HTML and CSS tweaks. Better color, better productivity. Enjoy. http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/office-online-background-color.html Cheers, Mrk
Most writers would use a full screen word processor like FocusWriter or Omm to get work done. No distractions. Just write and save it.
You're missing the point. It's not about what you use. It's about being able to change the feature of an online suite. Moreover, if you're a Linux person, this is the only way to really use MS Office without fancy tricks, so it's quite useful to know. Finally, I don't know what you classify as "writers" - but it does not matter what you use to get the job done. Moreover, MS Office is more than just for writing. It's an office suite, used by billions. Mrk
Point taken. Microsoft hasn't made it easy to customize their suite. Back in the day, Corel used to dominate the office suite market, they screwed it up with a flawed release and Microsoft got it right and had been the market leader ever since. I was thinking of every one who writes and sure Word is the standard by which word processors are measured but a stripped down, no frills version can help people deal with writers' block and be productive.
