Download page locations are preferable to direct download links. Thanks for the info Carver.

Another day another Comodo bug fix...... It updated without any drama, I didn't even need to reboot.

You NEED to REBOOT according to Comodo Moderators even though the update doesn't say you need to...

Anyway, a significate improvement with online speed.

How can you tell? Are you saying that you actually ran previous build with significant slowdown?

I hope every one can use Perfect Disk 2008 boot Defrag, as I set my PD to do a Boot Defrag every Boot up. There is a big thread on the issue about it at Comodo Forums, I don't seem to have the problem.

I can definitely see better performance in my web browsers. With the previous CFP build I was experiencing pauses and stalls when loading web pages. I know it's anecdotal...

The slow downs were mainly for people doing network sharing and for people like me who are gamers. Version 318 was resulting in higher pings and latency. Web browsing for me ddint slow down but when I was trying to FRAG somebody at a latency of 200 it sucks. I sent Melih an email and within 24 hours it was fixed. Nice turn around time.

i find it disturbing that they releasing a new version every other week now and still can't fix all the bugs.

Its called being on top of things and fixing problems right away. Melih is very quick to fox things and not wait weeks.

Would you prefer that Comodo just release the first version with all the bugs and NOT realse another version for 10 months, then you can live with all those bugs for 10 months. :cautious: Be grateful that Comodo cares enough to fix the bugs in version after version.

You do need to reboot to fix the network issues, Which I did with my wireless... It replaces a certain file, and highly recommended.

i know, always being grateful to Comodo being using their software for years now and what i'm saying here is that if u look at the past, for example version 2.4 only had 3 releases after the betas and it was stable then with version 3 we already are at release number 8 . . . in my opinion Comodo firewall 3 is not yet a stable piece of software.

I agree with Zorbis and imho comodo has gone into such a complicated piece of soft now they have to fix bugs every day, apart from the fact that it is a complex and not friendly user firewall.
