CD DVD Drives in Device Manager

    On my "regular computer, I see my CD and DVD drives listed in device manager in the category: DVD/CD-ROM devices.

    On my backup computer, I just happened to notice CD and DVD drives are listed in category:unknown device. They are both working properly - or at least seem to be. What would cause this and does it matter?
