If I block CCleaner in firewall CCleaner wont run minimised (using right-click option on Recycle bin). CCleaner just crashes on my system. Anybody experiencing something similar?

The download from Piriform's site shows the same version as yours:

So this new version 5.44.6577 is a mystery. :doubt:

CCleaner and its emergency updater are blocked from accessing the internet so no update here. I wonder whether I should manually update or not?

Mine is the Pro version if that really matters? Did your current version update to 5.44.6577

When I "Check for Updates" inside CCleaner, the Web page states I have the latest version - 5.44.6575.

Given that it was a Holiday a couple of days ago, it was a speedy reply. ;) :)

Ccleaner 5.44 Pro icon in System Tray no longer blinks when cleaning from Run Ccleaner. Any suggestions?

Keep in mind that the "Support Forums" at "Piriform" are run by volunteers. It's rare that an official developer will answer anything there. I've been watching the Recuva forms a lot, and all the answers are guesses. Mostly.
