Google paying Piriform is good. More resources improve the development of CCleaner. Look how frequently this software is improved compared to the free alternatives without relevant monetary funds.

Also, the chrome "offer" can be dismissed with one click. Also, chrome isn't offered with the portable version of CCleaner.

Thanks for the heads up, Wild Hunter. :)
Always improving, always optimizing... what a great program.
I now use it in conjunction with BleachBit for a nice one-two cleanup punch.
Updating this program has ALWAYS gone super smooth for me. :thumb:
    All very valid points! :thumb:

CCleaner + PrivaZer seem to do an adequate job together. They kind of clean up after each other. Desktop is running faster and no noticeable problems. My only complaint with PrivaZer is the speed, which in all fairness they did improve a bit with recent updates. Would recommend both of these products, but CCleaner is still my preferred choice.

Yes ive seen privazer advertised and looks a smart program.I might take a look at it but im always cautious as hell with these sort of programs and dont want to hose the system down lol.:D

I see no need to update. Using a very outdated version and will continue to.

I love CCleaner and use it myself. But I hate the fact that if you are cleaning a PC with multiple accounts you have to log on to every account to fully clean your PC.

You can always check the option of running cleaner on startup as i h ave done!

so i dont ever clean it manually, its done automatically everytime the pc starts.

    Simply an awesome free product!

Will it clean all user accounts. And how do you do this?

Go to options and settings and check the box that says run ccleaner when the computer starts up.

You would have to do this only once on every user account that you have.
So login once to the account once and check the box.

I personally have 3 accounts 1 admin and 2 standard accounts, and i have been using these settings for about 3 years now on windows 7 :)
