Can't you build an installer that works?

Again the installer does not work in updating to 684, still the locked log file this time it also closes explorer which means the desk top! then fails but as you don't have a desk top you have close the hard way.

Then when you finally get back manually stop services and ekrn.exe it gives a fresh install without your settings.

2 hours to install is 2 hours to long

I'm pretty sure everyone is having the same problem.....

 

export settings, unistall. re-install, import settings?

I always install over it an never had any problems.

 

I'm pretty sure you can't spot sarcasm..... The rolling eyes should have given it away....

I love it when people have a problem and come back to the authors shouting "I've got a problem and it's your fault, why can't you get it right??" without considering that many, many others don't suffer the same problem. Hence the lack of others all shouting in a agreement with the OP.

I just updated a computer for testing purposes (ThinkPad T60 running Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition x86, not a virtual machine) from 3.0.672 to 3.0.684 without any noticeable problems.

It could be a problem that is specific to your computer's operating environment.
