It is very odd indeed, videos offered by the NY Times don't play with IE10 (they do with Chrome) but I have no problems with videos by other newspapers. Not a big issue as I'm using Chrome most of the time, but I'm wondering why this is happening. Anybody with a suggestion? TIA.

ActiveX filtering enabled? TPLs blocking it?

Thanks funkydude but active X filtering is not enabled and I don't have TLPs. As I mentioned, it would make sense if all videos were disabled with IE10, it only happens with the NYTimes but it's okay with other newspapers. I thought maybe it's just the NYTimes, but it works perfectly with Chrome, go figure...
This is happening with Win 8 (64 bit) and IE10, no problems on my Vista (32 bit) machine and IE9.

Can you be more specific? I mean how would cookies interfere with the execution of a video? IE10 has default configuration, I haven't changed anything.
