I don't know since when this has happened, but I just realized it yesterday. When I view the forum as a Guest, I can't see anyone's signature at all, including my own. I can view them again if I'm logged-in.

    What happened? o_O

I have the same "problem". They might have changed something on forum. Administrators should know...

I turned them off for guest views. It's related to an anti-spamming measure. I want to see how this goes for a while.

If I'm allowed to make a suggestion, what about making new members can only put signatures after they have certain amount of posts (like 5 posts minimum for example)? I'm fairly sure that vB has this setting since SMF and MyBB have it if I'm not being mistaken.

That's fine for obvious spammers, but, this is more for the folks who have posted some, even over time, and who have signatures that are a bit spammy in nature. Not bad enough to remove, but, not necessarily something we want linked to.

Anyway, I'm still considering what to do long range.

I cannot see any signatures in any posts logged in or not.
I do have the option checked in my settings to view them.

Signatures are still disabled from guest viewing, but, they are available once logged in. I can't recreate an issue with a member account not being able to view signatures once that preference is set.

This is with a smartphone, I'll check with the desktop when I get a chance. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Ah, that makes sense. I'm not sure if signature display is disabled for all mobile devices or if it disables display based on a minimum screen size requirement. Larger screens may show signatures while smaller ones definitely appear not to.

On my tablet 7" (1920x1200) I can see signatures when logged in.

Just noticed something about the signature situation with the smart phone,
I still cannot see any in portrait mode, but holding it in landscape mode everythings visible, signatures, post counts, join date and location. Did not notice this before as I usually view in portrait mode.
