Can't use my CD-RW with TI 8.0

I bought True Image 8.0 twenty-two days ago and I still haven't been able to use it. TI does not recognize my CD-RW drive, only my 3 1/4-inch diskette drive. Acronis Customer Support has asked me multiple times to "wait a few more days" for a resolution. I emailed them again yesterday, but no response. I am about to ask them for a refund, since the product is worthless to me.

 

Not any specs to go on but this may help
Update any firmware for your burner.
Update your system bios.
See if the drive is seen at cmos boot.
If it is, make sure it is seen in system devices, then under properties make sure it is set to dma.
If using xp dissable cd recording under windows.
Another method is to start in safe mode and use Ti there.
If you still ahve problems post your system specs ,os, intalled software etc.
