Cant update NOD 32

After installing it successfully on new system recently,I'm now trying to update again on a new install. Had a HD failure & lost everything so back to start. Install from disc is ok but it doesnt seem to accept my password & user name for latest updates.I'm confident my input of name & p/word is correct.
Its 2.7 version & license is current till 31st Mar 2009.

Any ideas?

Another thing thats happening now is the Program component upgrade window shows for upgrade to 2.70.32,I click yes & it just vanishes for 5 seconds & reappears.

It sounds like the User name or Password are entered incorrectly. Is there an error message in the logs?

It seems that you are using a version lower than 2.70.32?

The recent version is 2.70.39 if I remember it correctly.

Try to download the recent version with your user and passoword and install it once again.

 

The install was from disk that has db version 1869 & is ver 2.70.16

My pc is local area connect to another pc that we use to connect(dialup) to net.Is it possible my setup at install is somehow wrong,what should I look for pls.Below is copy of event log

It seems that you have a bad internet connection so that the NOD32 can not connect to the update server( from "Server connection failure" in the log you can know that).

You may need to make some changes in advance setting of NOD32 update module.

 

Thanks for your assistance guys.I havent made any changes apart from activating Windows XP & retried NOD update & it has worked ok.Now at ver sig 2091.
