Im trying to uninstall latest version Nod 3. Ive run thru the uninstaller in safe mode. Disabled the services. Nothing NOD is running as far as I can tell. When I try to install nod 2 I get the message "Incompatible with already installed version". Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Safe mode? You dont need to do that. I have uninstalled and reinstsalled NOD32 10 times I guess now just playing around. Always uninstalls for me using its uninstaller. You can download Revo Uninstaller and try that. Its free and works well. Do that advaced uninstall to get rid of registry settings and entries.

I never had any problem like that. Manually get rid of everything. Programfiles/Documents and Settings. Anything Eset related. Then use cCleaner issues.

its not NOD32 its your pc. You cant install another anti virus till you get rid of your own. I just uninstalled NOD32 2.7 last night with no problems.

No it was nod.. The service was hiding after about the 8th try it appeared in processexplorer and I killed it. Then everything went smooth. Now Im back to 2.7
Its strange that the service wouldnt uninstall thru Revo or the uninstaller by itself.
    Thanks for your time
