We are trying use the block address feature of NOD32. Current version for is V4.2.76 (Business edition). Web Access Prottection is enabled. Under Web accces prtotection -> HTTP, HTTPS -> Address Management we added 4 websites in the "List of blocked addresses/masks".

Nothing happens, the websites are not blocked, we are using the mask format: *.website (website being the offending website).

Does anyone know how to actually make this work?

    Try one of the following:
    *.googlesyndication.com
    *.intellitxt.com

Does ESET not block inline HTML HTTP access?

We have found over the last few months that the adservers are the number one vector for incoming virus. As a result we are looking at how to block the adservers that have been used to send questionable content.

It should work that way but I'd better change it to *googlesyndication.com*. Are you still able to open the web page in a browser?

That seems to have done it. Thank you very much.
