Hello every1 :) , just installed NOD32 version 2.x (2.7 I believe) along with the free COMODO firewall.

This morning I had three pop ups stating the following:
The service "xyz" is preventing the machine from entering sleep mode. Try stopping the service.

xyz = Window Time, Remote Access Connection Manager and System Event Notification

I have noticed that the three come up at different times during a 24hr period (over night all three pop-ups are on the screen)

So, don’t know which new program is doing this (or both) nor how to avoid it.

My old firewall and antivirus did not have this issue.

    Can you help,
    Macpeteo

Just to update. I'm not having the issue anymore, actually, I have not seen the pop-ups after I wrote the initial message on this board but my monitor was not going to sleep.

Bottom line I just "touched" my display and Energy settings and all is well again.

    Thanks,
    Macpeteo

macpeteo : I'm glad all is well again. I would not know how to help you in anycase.

Thought I would add that I have NOD32 and Comodo Firewall on three machines at home, and all of them work together perfectly.
You had me worried for a minute.
