    Greetings:

I need some help using TI v.7. I tried to restore an image using a TI bootdisk and images burned to CD. Toward the end of the process, TI returned an error and the recovery failed. I'm now left with a black screen and blinking cursor. I haven't discovered any way to restart Win98SE.

Any help would be much appreciated.

That happened to me with one of the later TI7 builds. I just assumed that the target partition was not functional and tried the restore again. In my case, the problem was the TI boot cd. I ended using the boot CD from a previous build (589) and the restore completed.

    Nick,

Thanks for your response. At this point, I'm occupied with rebuilding my machine. Going forward, I don't plan to use Acronis.
