Hi, I'm unable to open regedit, and a google search brought me to a similar topic in this forum that was resolved. The poster was asked to show a logfile from Hijackthis, so I figured I'd do the same. Thanks for your help!

There's more; after running the Blaster removal tool, run an online virus scan at Panda Active Scan

When done, restart your computer, and post a fresh log.

I've done both of those, and I'm now able to open regedit. Thanks much folks. This is the current log from hijackthis. Is there anything else that should be done?

You're almost there; just some spyware to clean up. Check, and have Hijack This fix all of the following:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CMESys] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII\CMESys.exe"

    O4 - Global Startup: Date Manager.lnk = C:\Program Files\Date Manager\DateManager.exe
    O4 - Global Startup: GStartup.lnk = C:\Program Files\Common Files\GMT\GMT.exe
    O4 - Global Startup: PrecisionTime.lnk = C:\Program Files\PrecisionTime\PrecisionTime.exe

Reboot, and delete the GMT and CMEII folders in C:\Program Files\Common Files.

Uninstall Date Manager and Precision Time.

    Cheers,
