Is the D: drive removable? If so, is it a usb stick or memory card? Anyways, I'd strongly recommend installing EAV v3 which detects more threats than v2. You can also install EAV v4 beta which has cleaning of threats improved compared to v2/v3.

    just rename the drive
ex D/F/G (doesn`t matter what letter is) rename it to Y/N/H whatever you want
for autorun.inf you don`t have to run some kind of antivirus
i had the same problem over & over again until i found out about this procedure from a friend...google
stop installing & uninstalling security softwares... your nod32 is good enough..

Yes but the scanning engine and heuristic engine are more advanced in v 3/4

Of course, V3/V4 use different engine than v2 and thus they detect more.

yes but if the database it's the same they should detect the same virii

i did not upgrade to 3v or tried 4v
because i want only the amon resident
i don't use email clients ,don't use dmon , imon ,emon

the first time i tried nod32 v3 i can disable but a pop up notify me to enable and after a reboot they are enabled this is why i 'm still using 2.7

Wrong. The same database does not mean the same detection as v2 cannot take advantage of special signatures for new techniques implemented in v3/v4.

    Windows XP!
Two not difficult ways to erase not erasable file. First to use UNLOCKER (it is freeware), second is to use the "recovery console" it is on Windows Xp CD, but you may want install it on a hard drive as a startup option, to do that just type in "X:\i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons", where X - is your CD-DVD drive with windows XP disk inserted.
    Commands:
1)Help - To see the commands available on the Recovery Console
2)delete [drive:][path] filename - type the path of your file which should be deleted
3)attrib [+r|-r] [+s|-s] [+h|-h] [+c|-c] [[drive:][path] filename] - you may want to change some attributes if it, for example, read only
    +r

    Sets the read-only file attribute.

    -r

    Clears the read-only file attribute.

    +s

    Sets the system file attribute.

    -s

    Clears the system file attribute.

    +h

    Sets the hidden file attribute.

    -h

    Clears the hidden file attribute.

    +c

    Sets the compressed file attribute.

    -c

    Clears the compressed file attribute

But do not delete files which you dont know, begin with google to find more information about target, because it could be a critical system file!!!

Must just be lucky that a Russian test is putting Russian software first.
