I'm running True Image Home 2009 - installed from CD.

There is no way I can see which build I have - there is no such thing as "help/about" or "tools/about" on this program!

Also, it would appear that http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/ does not give the user the ability to download 9709, even after registering.

Do you use the english version of ATIH 2009? It's only available for the english version right now. The other languages will follow soon, I hope.

I agree with John, the registered products only show #9646 as avail to download. (Using English Version).

However modifying the download url to include 9709 instead of 9646 seems to instigate a download: https://www.acronis.com/my/download/?TrueImage2009.9709_s_en.exe (88.4 MB) and not 87.46 MB as per 9646.
It also has a timestamp of ‎22 ‎January ‎2009 16:25:51 and Product Version of 9709.

Must be Acronis have just not got around to updating url's!

Separate note: It would not install on Windows 7 *64 (beta). Install fails near the end, as it did with previous installer/version.

Pleased to of been able to assist. Hopefully it will work better and fix issues from the previous versions. It will be nice when they do officially support Windows 7 rather than the inconsistencies people are currently experiencing installing 2009 onto said platform, with some able to do so, and others not able to do so. Still cutting them some slack, as admittedly Windows 7 is still in beta, although some would say so is True Image 2009! ;-)

Yes indeed, you were of great help!

The new build offers up previously invisible functions for backups. Vlad's intructions looked like he was talking about another program entirely!!

I'm still trying to auto-delete oldest backups without manual intervention.

    Thanks again.

ALT/F11 (if I remember correctly) will display the menu and then one can select Help/About.

Hi to find out which build version you have
press the ALT key and a new menu will appear. You can then confirm which version you are using.

Alternatively if you have the source Acronis download file - right click this and look at the properties of this executable file. The version will be displayed here.
