Cant download in explorer 8

    I have tried several times, using my est username and password to download smart security from the eset sites, both .com and .co.uk but my username and password do not work. I have downloaded from softpedia, installed and my username and password work to get the updates. Why do they not work in internet explorer 8?
    I guess I have had a bad weekend with software and windows.............time to give up and go to bed!

    Both sites mentioned for downloads work fine using the correct password with IE8 on my end.

    I would check the settings in IE8 and also make sure my password was correct when using the ESET sites.

    Thanks for that. An IE8 thing makes sense. I have only just reinstalled windows to the 32 bit version from 64. I will download firefox in a while and see if that works ok.

    Just downloaded firefox and all worked ok. One of those explorer moments :)
