Can't Delete variant of Win32/Kryptik.SNW trojan from Quarantine

Problem: variant of Win32/Kryptik.SNW trojan does not delete from ESET Quarantine.

OS: Windows 7, service pack 1, 64 bit via Bootcamp (Mac OS X Snow Leopard and VMware Fusion 3).

ESET Product: ESET Cybersecurity for Mac
version 4.0.62.0

Antivirus and antispyware scanner module 1318 (20110812)
Virus signature database 6447 (2011090

Advanced heuristics module 1118 (20110419)

ESET is NOT able to delete the above named trojan from ESET Quarantine. See the screenshots with this posting for more information.

Thanks for any help on how to permanently delete this trojan file from ESET Quarantine. Manual deletion within ESET software does not work.

 

Hi,

The Windows volume that you are wanting to access is probably NTFS, and you may not have access to delete files.

Please advise us, if you are able to delete this file, if you boot up from Windows, on your MAC.
