Hi, I have just purchased version 8, having the very latest version after many years of the good old faithful but limited deluxe version.
Installed ok, no probs, imaged ok, but will not boot into true image from the boot cd or via windows, which rather defeats the object of it all. Can anyone help please.
Win xp home, service pack 2, Nod32, prevx pro.

Ps had the same prob when trialling about a year ago, but kinda hoped it would be sorted by now.

    Thanks Rollers

    Hello Rollers,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

We are really sorry for the inconveniences.

Could you please describe what happens when you try to boot from Acronis Bootable CD? If it hangs have you tried the "acpi=off noapic" workaround? Also I can recommend that you create the "Safe" version of Acronis Bootable CD and try using it. Please launch the "Bootable Media Builder" and choose "Safe" version to create this disk.

If the problem persists please create the sysinfo.txt file and send to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread. Please see https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317 for the instructions.

    Thank you.
