Re: Kaspersky IS 7 a Dreadful Program Choice for Vista

Sometimes it has bad periods, I just tried it out now and could.

Agree with btman... wait a little while and try again... the forum's been having some fast and slow peroids over the last few weeks/months... server upgrade has been planned within the next few weeks and should improve soon

Problem with providing support on the Kaspersky forum is that it takes forever to respond with numerous timeouts - I bet that really slows Don down :D

Is the Kaspersky forum down? I can't access it or the Kaspersky website.

Really? Both the Kaspersky website and the forum has been unreachable for me all day long. What can be wrong then? Everything else works, so I took for granted that it was Kaspersky sites that were down.

I have a friend with the same problem, it's his ISP (he lives in London and i think the isp is TalkTalk).

Well, I'm in Sweden, so we don't share the ISP, but perhaps there is something to it anyway, since others are experiencing it. Weird that it's only Kaspersky in that case.

you could try with a proxy like TOR if you really want, who knows... it might work, the forum itself is ok.

Try to clean your computer's DNS cache

And try with your firewall disabled

Thanks, didn't help. I'll have to contact my ISP tomorrow and ask if they are behind this. :cautious:

It's weird, because everything else works fine.
