"Cannot write file to disk. Error: 35761 Request timed out"

    I have been receiving the subject error message for the last month. I have un/re-installed the software four times and this morning manually downloaded and opted to overwrite existing databases. When I re-open SpywareBlaster and attempt to check for updates, I receive the same message. Help me obi-wan...you're my only hope!

    Well - that's a very rare one. :doubt:

    What version of Windows are you running? Also, what other security software are you using (anti-virus, firewall, etc.)?
