Cannot rename folders on an NTFS external drive under Mac OSX running Paragon NTFS

    I can't rename folders on an external drive under Mac OSX despite running Paragon NTFS.
    When I try to do so, I get the following error message.

    "The operation can't be completed because [folder name] is in use.
    Quit applications and try again."

    I have NOTHING running from the external drive. There is nothing to quit.

    Please help, I need to rename some folders.
