Cannot Install as Administrator on Vista

I cannot install this on Vista - the MSI Package requires Administrator privileges, but I cannot assign Administrator privileges in any of the dialogues.

This website explains that some MSI packages are too old to include this option...

There is a fix on the website, however I don't want to mod my registry. I want ESET to fix it.

If this were a problem with the MSI package, why am I able to install in Vista Business?

Try temporarily disabling UAC during the install.

 

manually uninstalled the previous version then it worked...
