I downloaded the installer for 64bit windows7 (ess_nt64_enu). It starts to install then says "The cabinet file core.cab required for this installation is corrupt..." and I can't go any further. I tried again and this time it was ' modules.cab. It also said the error code is 2350. What can I do? Thanks

    Hello Gazooo,

The issue you are running to may be related to the following:

The Windows Error 2350 occurs when the installed version of the Windows Installer is too old for the MSI to execute. The registration entry for the engine has been damaged and all attempts to execute the MSI installation packages will not be successful.

To fix the registration entry for the Windows Installer, the Installer service should first be registered then unregistered using msiexec /unregister and msiexec /regserver or the command line switches. You will then have to restart Windows.
