cannot create image

    My PC has Acornis TI 9.1 ver 3718 installed and has a 300g Sata drive which been partitioned into 2 partitions (done using partition magic).
    I am able to create an image of either, or both, of the partitons by using a bootable CD that was created from the installed TI. However I am unable to create an image of one of the partitions (only one, the other works ok) using the installed TI. The error I get is that the drive is unavailable or has bad sectors.

    I have run a chkdsk /f several times and no bad sectors were reported.

    Any ideas?

    use chkdsk /r not /f on the partition. /r does everything /f does plus a scan of the entire partition.
