    Hello

    I'm using WinXPSP3 eset SS 4.2.40.27 (database: 5074).
My computor is infected and it will not allow me to click update button.
Is it possible to execute update DataBase file from console?

    Thank you in advance!

Has ESS detected malware or how do you know the computer is infected?
If you enable diagnostic logging verbosity, is a new record created in the event log? If so, could you copy & paste it here?

That could be normal system files, such as IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, NTDETECT.COM, ntldr, pagefile.sys.

No, they are not system files.. They are EXEC files like i sayd before..
    c:\tn.exe
    c:\xievhrf.exe
    c:\j83uv.exe
    c:\a2r.exe
    c:\2fxt.exe
    c:\38s3i.exe
    ... etc..
I was able to run MBytes remove some files, but still not able to click update button on ESET.. That why i'm asking is it possible to update DB via console?
can you tell me the commands?
