Luckily, hockey is not a big deal over here - We are all about football (soccer to some) so it's all good :)

Forget football... Canada would be on the losing side for sure and the whole country would be yours. :D ;) :D

To make it all fair we will play soccer (football) on ice.

You really think that would increase your chances of winning? :D

    lol,

I certainly would never wish this but IMHO the only chance Canada would ever have at beating Denmark in a Football game would be if the Danish players suddenly went blind..... ;) :D

    As of Jul 20/05

ZURICH (CP) - Despite a poor showing at the Gold Cup, Canada rose one place to No. 84 in the world soccer rankings released Wednesday by FIFA.

European champion Greece, which was eliminated from the Confederations Cup without a win, slumped six places into a tie for 19th with Denmark.

    Hot off the presses!!

Miss Denmark '04, Line Larson, has just been appointed Charge 'd Affaires and been posted to Hans Is. by the Danish Govt.

She has applied for and was awarded a 'Timmy Horton's Franchise' so as soon as Global Warming melts the rest of the ice there will be a Grand Opening. Hot cocoa and pasties.....[EDIT]....pastries are on the house!

    lol,

I saw a pic of winning couple in all their glory, in the paper here in Toronto the other day. :D

Here's a quote from a link i found on the subject,

MARQUETTE, Mich. (AP) - A championship couple from Canada trotted off with first-place honours in the wife-carrying contest at the Finn Grand Fest 2005 in upper Michigan on the weekend.

Markus Raty and Dorothy Kazula of Toronto claimed victory with a time of 33.28 seconds, the Mining Journal of Marquette reported. They raced "Estonian-style," where the woman hangs upside-down with her legs around the man's shoulders and her arms around his waist.

One hell of a way to get around together. ;) :D

Maybe our outgoing Govenor General and her husband could represent us in a final official duty against The Danish Prime Minister and his wife.

You just have to take away the workout thingy and replace it with a cigarette and a bucket of coffee.
