Can you manually update SpywareGuard?

SpywareGuard will not update through our Firewall. It gives an error message that states "The server returned the following unexpected response:" Then there's a blank line and the OK Button.

The update for SpywareBlaster works fine so it's something specific to SpywareGuard.

I have another program that will not update through our Firewall called Ad-Aware. I got around that by locating a reference file that could be manually downloaded and extracted to the Ad-Aware folder to replace the existing reference file. I was hoping that the same thing could be done with SpywareGuard?

Please let me know if there are any options.
