Can True Image do this?

Hello everyone

I am looking for a backup software that would allow me to automatically schedule a backup and to be able to save it on DVDs as my first option or second hard drive as my second otpion.

Can True Image do that?

No. "Automatically" implies you are not present when the backup is done. What would happen if you needed to span DVDs.

A TI schedule takes a single target drive, it cannot failover if a first option does not work out.

I personally wouldn't bother with DVDs anyway. Far too unreliable and difficult to manage - oh yeah and you generally need to be around at backup time.

But turn your options around and then you can automatically backup to a second hard drive. If you have the backup files split to DVD sized chunks it is then possible to burn them to DVDs when you are present.
