Can TI deal with the Packard Bell WIN XP OEM

    Considering buying TI8 but I am concerned that it may not be able to deal with the Packard Bell implementation of WIN XP OEM.

    Specifically, this version has a hidden sector on the original hard drive which has a "tattoo". On system boot WINXP checks for this TATTOO and if it isnt present boot fails.

    So if the original hard disk fails and has to be replaced will a disk image have copied this hidden sector and its tattoo and reinstall it on a new hard disk so that the OEM WINXP can boot.
