Well, you did everything right and reboot is required.
VSS is the default, right after installing FDISR. I use VSS.
If you change it in RSS, you should see RSS and not VSS.
If Peter is stumped, I'm certainly stumped, because I'm only good when FDISR works properly without technical problems.
It's high time to contact support.
