    Hi Fraha,

    Before you start please unzip hijackthis.exe to a folder of it´s own. The program creates backups in the folder it is in. These will end up on your desktop.

    Check the following item in HijackThis.
    Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CMESys] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII\CMESys.exe"

    Reboot and delete:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII <= entire folder if still present

    Thanks Pieter,

    It's a newbie computer so I have to go and do this myself. Next tuesday I'll work further on this system at the computerclub meeting.

    He cannot move hT to a new folder or delte the files you told me to delete.
