Can not install

When I try to run the windows installer to install the NOD32 for vista , I get the following "This installation package is not supported by this processor type . Contact the product vendor" My computer is brand new with a dual AMD processor 64 live. I have run the windows updates and still get the same problem. I contacted HP and they said it was a problem on NOD32 side not theirs. Any Suggestions

 

Why don't you try getting the 64-bit installer for NOD32 instead of the 32-bit.
If you did get the 64-bit, I'm sorry, I don't know the solution.

I would try the 32bit version. I have a fairly new laptop with an AMD 64 Athlon X2 but the OS is the 32bit version of Vista so I install the 32bit versions of apps.

Is your operating system 32bit or 64bit?

 

I do not know. How do I find out?

 

I just found it is the 32 bit.

Remember. Always download 32 bit softwares from now on instead of 64 bit. Or else... Same effect will happen.
