Can Linux benefit from the obsoletion of Windows XP?

    Most likely, no. Because XP will not become obsolete :) Or at least it won't become obsolete quick enough to benefit Linux.

    Organizations? Err, probably next to none.

    People? Yes, most likely there will be people that move to Linux, it becomes more viable every year.

    There's also the fact that anything that gets the die-hards off XP is a good thing.
