Hi everyone, Not sure if this is the right place to post this thread but I think it is. I have Googled around and experimented for days and not found one single piece of evidence to suggest that I can do a dual boot from usb Tails from my Macbook Pro with retina. All the sites that I have read seems to contradict themselves where It states on how to install Tails and then states that it does not work. So, here is my question: Can I dual boot Tails from a ScanDisk 16gb 3.0usb onto a MacBook Pro with retina (El Capitan version 10.11.3)? Has anyone been successful?
Dual boot AFAIK means you're actually installing Tails onto the Macbook's internal drive, and have the option of booting Tails directly from the HDD/SSD. Getting rid of the "dual" part would make this less confusing IMO. Have you tried this?: http://www.howtogeek.com/213396/how-to-boot-a-linux-live-usb-drive-on-your-mac/
