can i create a limited account in my ftp space?

Hi
i have a question

i have an ftp service

i upload photos inside with filezilla

may i create a limited account inside my ftp space ,with a user and password to share some photos with my friends

the point is that often i take photos of my friends
and i would like for example that my friend could watch only her photos (photo with her)

may i do it? if yes how? i guess filezilla is not enough

Do you have a control panel with your FTP service? If so, create other user accounts and give them a subdirectory so you have:

/photos
/photos/bob/
/photos/fred/

Then each user has access only to their own directory. Otherwise can you execute PHP? You could make a simple script with user/pass which redirects them to only the content they are allowed to view.

Hard to say without knowing what options your service has.

yes it support FTP, php, mysql and other
in the contrl panel i can create an hard disk and other features but can't( i guess) create users account

about the php and script , how can i do it?
i mean i know nothing
