Can EMON be turned off if Outlook is not installed on the computer? Is there ANY benefit to leaving it on if Outlook is not on a computer?

Thanks, but is there any benefit to having it enabled if Outlook is not installed?

I'd advise you to leave it on, as it virtually makes no difference in system resource if you turn it off. Besides, EMON should work also with Outlook Express if I'm correct, which makes sense if you use OE as your email client

Correct, you will not see a performance increase with EMON turned off.

No, EMON is designed specifically for MS Outlook.

    Cheers :D
