can anyone tell me if this is a hoax

I received an email and aol spam controls put it in my spam folder but i read it and it said that i had sent someone an email that contained a virus( some fool) was the name.i had never heard of this address i supposedly sent an email to--anyway it said to update my virus scanner etc.i know i dont have a virus in the first place and secondly i never sent an email to this address.does anyone know what is going on

i read the links from snowbound and ronjor about the some fool virus--and downloaded the tool to check for and remove it and i used it but it found no some fool on the computer--i didnt think i had any virus because i have norton installed up to date and wormguard and spyware guard and various other programs and i scan every other day to check.all i can figure its a hoax of somekind.thanks ronjor and snowbound for your replys

thanks--checked out the link--i didnt respond to the email so now ill delete it.aol has spam controls so obviously it was just thought to be spam and put in my spam folder by aol so guess its nothing --i just get a little nervous but have decided its nothing
