    Hi ceedeeb,

    Please download and run CWShredder

That should take care of the hijack.
    And have HijackThis fix:
    O16 - DPF: {2119776A-F1AD-4FCD-9548-F1E1C615350C} - http://www.stop-sign.com/pub/download/scandl_cnry.cab

    Then reboot.

    Regards,

    Pieter

Sorry, if i posted to the wrong topic, Paul!

    Pieter,
I already downloaded CWshredder but only used it to do a "scan only" report.
So now do i use the CWshredder BEFORE using HijackThis to fix the 016 line?
    Thanks again for your help!

    Hi ceedeeb,

Use the Fix button of the latest version of CWShredder.

Then put a checkmark in HijackThis in front of the entry I pointed out and click Fix checked.

Then restart your computer and you should be done.

Do read the advise CWShredder offers about getting infected.

And don't worry about posting in the wrong forum. It shows all kinds of trojan behaviour, this family of hijackers, so it is easy to mix them up. And a lot of AV ´s detect it as a trojan.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Pieter,

Well, I have my home page back! Thanks a heap.

I'll take your recommendation and read the CWShredder offer about getting infected. Guess Wilderssecurity.com will be added to my FAVORITES (and I only clutter it with the BEST, lol).
    Thanks again!
    :)
