Anyone know why my 'Spybot' software might be getting stuck on this when I run the 'Check for problems' function?

    Hi Brightonwomble,

Check this site out http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/articles/lop/. It says that Spybot S&D should remove all instances of lop.com software.

Have you loaded the latest Spybot S&D updates?

    Regards

    Nah. Not working!

Doesn't want to remove it. Get's stuck. I've got the most recent update of it as well. Suggestions?

Sometimes you have to wait for 10-15 minutes for Spybot S&D to move past this file. It can take a while, even on fast pcs.

Any lop.com sw can be a real stinker to remove. Let Spybot run, do its stuff and come back in 20 min or so.

    Regards

Just an FYI - A little later, I'll move this thread over to the Privacy Software forum section, leaving a moved placeholder behind so you can find it.

Let us know how it goes. :)
