    Hi

    I just finished completing a scan using the free version (4.0.0.172) and the subject matter was picked up, as follows: -

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    ewido anti-spyware - Scan Report
    ---------------------------------------------------------

    + Created at: 14:13:01 13/09/2006
    + Scan result:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\rmt.trb -> Heuristic.Win32.HostFile : Ignored.

    ::Report end

    I have searched this forum, to no avail and Google doesn't come up with anything of relevance; mainly translated pages.

    I keep an extremely clean system and use the following, updated, on a daily basis: -

    AVG Pro 7.1.406
    Sygate Firewall (also behind a firewalled Linksys NAT router)
    Ad-Aware SE Personal Build 1.06r1
    Spybot Search and Destroy 1.4
    a-squared free 2.0.0.234
    ewido anti-spyware free (naturally) 4.0.0.172
    Bazooka 1.13.03
    CCleaner 1.32.345
    Windows Defender Beta 2 (1.1.1347.0)
    Spy Sweeper 5.0.7.16.8
    SpywareBlaster 3.5.1
    CWShredder 2.19
    Stinger 2.6.0 and 3.0.2

    All scans come up clean, with the exception of ewido.

    Naturally, I have submitted the aforementioned file to ewido support and am awaiting a response.

    Has anybody ever heard of, or had experience, with this file?

    I never use System Restore and have attached an HJT log, which is also clean.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    It seems that this file was just part of an other Anti-Trojan software.
