    Hi,
Can anyone help me to erase the 3 byte verify virus's that were detected on a virus scan. They are embedded in a file in the Temp internet files folders and cannot be deleted. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Use Ccleaner

    http://www.ccleaner.com/

Gets rid of mine everytime (at least i am pretty sure it does) as it cleans out all the folders it can lounge in.

Then do a scan with Panda online scan to make sure theyre gone.

Thats what i do and it seems to work.

    Hi,

You may need to delete in Safe Mode (with or without CCleaner, which I also use).

If they are lodged in the Temp Internet Files all you need to do is empty the TIFs and they will be gone. (Click Start/Run and enter cleanmgr to do that).

CCleaner will also do it for you. No need to run it in 'safe' though!

Yes topper is right, but the reason why i suggested Ccleaner is there is a high likelyhood that it is also in your java folder. Ccleaner is amazing as this cleans this out too.

I would clean via this and do a routine clean with this once a week, it only takes 6 seconds to do.
