I'm testing Bullguard suite on my VM.

It appears very settable, and very nice GUI.
AV is BD so very powerful. But I'm asking if this AV is the same, and the same B-HAVE, and the same Engine of Official BD= so is the same AV or not?

And Bullguard distribute Virus signatures at BD same time?

    Anyone can help me?

I think it may be a very good Suite: BD AV+ Outpost Firewall, and ...... very nice GUI (that never hurt me!!).

    Mike

Why don't you ask BullGuard itself? There is a button in the suite where you can start a chat or you can start a e-mail request. They will answer before you know it

    Hi,

I have just bought a new PC with Bullguard IS installed. I have asked them via there live support (Excellent service) and they say yes it does have B-have heuristics in there product.

    Cheers

Seems to run quite light although it is on a new computer.

Heuristics is not enabled as default. You need to switch them on. Have not tried the online back up yet. I am using the 90 day trial version at the moment.

I have a licence for Antivir premium AV which I have found excellent. The one thing I don't like about Antivir is the updates seem to take a long time to install where as Bullguard is very quick and small updates. I know Antivir are now small to but as I said the update mechnism just seems slow.

    All good so far.

    Cheers

    Jlo

I think I'm going to change my name into the tester. Testing BullGuard right now. It is light on resources and with the Bd engine and Outpost firewall it cant be really bad. Can it?

Any more thoughts on Bullguard? Looking for a good suite for the kids laptops at Uni and the online back up sounds handy.

    Hey....

Well I'm using Bullguard, and I really can't say a bad thing about it.. I hardly even notice it's there... I've tried a lot of things out, and for my computer Bullguard was just the best choice... It runs even lighter than the bitdefender suite (Haven't tried the new 2008 one, so I mean the old one).. I would definitely recommend it for people who don't know, or don't want to mess about with a lot of settings....

I purchased it for my parent's computer(s) and it runs really well. For a security suite, it's very simple to use and setup. However, you should run the 2 month trial and see what you think. Also, for $60 USD (1 yr Bronze subscription) it covers 3 computers. Not a bad price if you ask me.
