I have NOD32 v4.x and wish to create a rescue CD. ESET's SysRescue tells me I do not have Windows AIK (build 6001 or newer) installed, and redirects me to this website to get it: http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/...34-D890-4932-81A5-5B50C657DE08&displaylang=en

The system requirements there leave me wondering if my operating system is supported (I have XP MCE/sp3). It states that Windows XP Service Pack 2 with KB926044 is supported. I cannot find KB926044 installed on my system.

So how do I create a rescue disk?

That version of windows AIK works fine on xpsp3, so I assume that it would be fine with the xp MCE sp3.

    Thanks stackz.

    Holy moly:

A 1.34 GB Download just to create a rescue CD? It failed at 99% of the installation.

I think I'm going to bail on this one!
