    NOD32 BE v3.0.657
    CFGEDIT v2.00.107

The configuration of the Splash Screen is out of synch between these two programs.

CFGEDIT sets Show splash-screen at startup "Yes" to "1" (which would appear to be correct).

NOD32 sets "Show splash-screen at startup" to "0", and treats "1" as meaning "No Splash Screen".

(Was also this way in 3.0.650 and 2.0.56).

This is design . It was explained before that The Splash Screen setting is part of a group of settings known as per user , they are configured by the particular user logged on in the machine so applying the config won't change the Splash Screen settings .

However , ESET will probably change it in a way which will make it possible for this setting to be changed with the ESET Configuration editor :thumb:
