Bug : random program termination

Hi,

I had to remove ESS from my machine today, because it caused random programs running in the background (I mean, behind the window that had the focus, not running in the systray or something) to close. Or at least it seemed to, since I never saw that behavior on my computer before, and since I reinstalled KIS this evening (to check if it was ESS), the problem disappeared.That's why I thought ESS was probably the culprit.

I don't know if anyone encountered this strange behavior, but it was very annoying (luckily i didn't have open unsaved important files...)
