I initially had the same problem when I tried to install NOD32 Antivirus 5 Beta. In my case, the problem was caused by a conflict with another security application. After uninstalling the other application, the NOD32 installation went smoothly. I wonder whether you might be experiencing a similar issue.

In my case, it was AppGuard 3.0.13.0. Even if he does have AppGuard, it may be perfectly well behaved on his system so he will have to experiment to try and find the cause of the problem. I just wanted to suggest a software conflict of some kind as a possible cause, rather than a problem with the NOD32 beta itself. :)

Shold somebody encounter BSOD with v5 beta, upload the generated dump somewhere and PM me the link so that we can investigate if v5 was the culprit or there was an interference with another software resulting in BSOD.

The fact that ESET is listed as the cause of BSOD does not necessarily mean ESET is the culprit.

Not sure if a minidump will be enough to figure out the source of the problem but we'll see. Please upload the minidump somewhere (to an ftp server or a file sharing service) and PM me the link.

Hi,Marcos.I think it is really useless for me to upload the minidump file to you because I am respecting you as an expert and believe what you said "The fact that ESET is listed as the cause of BSOD does not necessarily mean ESET is the culprit".Besides, you don't even guide me how to upload the minidump file.Anyway,I already proved it in my previous about my BSOD issue but as you said "The fact that ESET is listed as the cause of BSOD does not necessarily mean ESET is the culprit".Honestly,I can tell you that this is first BSOD that I saw in my real life,I really don't know how BSOD looks like and until yesterday,I saw it first time.Besides,I did not have any issue with EAV 4.Thanks for the help and support.

PM system currently unavailable... will send link with minidump file when PM's are restored.

I uninstalled v4 and could then install v5 beta without any problems.
