Hello, and thank you in advance for being able to help people out with these issues.

I believe my browser (IE 6) has been hijacked. I've installed SpywareGuard, which is now popping up multiple times in any given hour to inform me of attempted changes to my browser, settings, etc.
Also, I have tried to install SpyBlaster, but when I try to run I get the error

"This program has been damaged, possibly by a bad sector of the hard drive or a virus. Please reinstall it."

I don't know if this is related, but I keep getting a "virtual memory minimum too low" message.

I also have previously installed and run Spybot S&D, Ad Aware, CW shredder......but even after that, SpywareGuard keeps informing me of attempts being made, so something is still in my system!?

Before this post, I re-ran BOTH Spybot and Ad Aware, as per instuctions about posting a log.(as I have been typing this post, the Spyguard has not yet activated, so maybe problem is resolved? Still would like you to double check my log to make sure! Thanks a ton!)
I have download and run HijackThis, and the following is my log:

    Hi LisaLML,

    Please download
    http://tools.zerosrealm.com/dllfix.exe

Doubleclick it and install in folder of choice on the root drive, in your case C:\

1.Run start.bat and press option 1. 'output.txt' will be created in the folder

(note : it's best to post that report together with a HijackThis log in your topic, so experts can have a look as well)

    2. IF hidden dll was successfully found, run start.bat again and choose option 2. Hit '1' and enter dll name manually.

    3. If dll was not found after first running start.bat :

Run start.bat again and choose option '2'. You must reboot after doing so.

    4. Download and run AdAware : http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ (make sure you have latest updates) and run it.

    5. Ask for a new hijackthis log, a new output.txt after the fix

    6. You can also run CWShredder finally to clean up other entries.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hi Pieter,

Thanks for your quick response. I am not great with this computer stuff, so I only got as far as step 2 in your last response. I can't tell if a hidden dll was successfully found or not, so I don't know what name for it to enter manually, so if you could clarify, that'd be great!!
    Thanks a ton!
